Gasket

InnoTek ‘s GASKET is a preformed elastomer seal used in TBM-bored tunnels to seal concrete segments.
This sealing gasket is built by means of injection moulding and shall be applied along the whole perimeter of each concrete segment. Sealing gaskets work by touching one with each other and they can be used to seal both longitudinal and annular joints. Sealing gaskets are designed and built according to specific watertightness requirements.
InnoTek ‘s GASKET is an easy-to use product prefabricated to fit the specific concrete segment it is required to seal. Thanks to its peculiar geometry and internal structure, this seal ensures high watertightness at the lowest possible applicable surface pressures even in case of a large offset and a non-optimal gap between segments.
The compression strength of the seal does not exceed the project-set limits thus making installation on concrete rather simple.
Careful study of force discharge on joint corners grants perfect sealing and forces reduction avoiding crushing of concrete segments in corner zones.
