An example of this is the Beles (ETHIOPIA) site, where TBM faced adverse geological conditions and the team had to cope with an extremely complex situation.
Several collapses of the excavation front forced the TBM to stop, which in turn required use of polymer resins to save the machine.
Thanks to the help and advice of InnoTek geologists a series of measures was enacted that made it possible to free the machine and resume excavations.
