TIS-sil/STAB

Description and characteristics
Tis sil-stab is an organo-silicate resin consisting of two components plus a catalyst which, once mixed, produce an emulsion with excellent chemical stability and high mechanical resistance. The two components A and B (before mixing, add the catalyst K to component B and mix it) are injected with a two-components pump. The catalyst dose (up to 10%) shall be chosen according to the reaction speed to be obtained. At the end of this process the reaction happens without an increase of volume in the injected mix. Tis sil-stab reacts also in presence of water. The mechanical resistance of the injected material depends on the conditions of the mass that needs consolidation, the type of fracture, the structure of the pores that must be filled and the injection pressure. The possibility of varying reaction speed by adjusting catalyst dose makes this product suitable also for use in moving waters.

Fire resistance properties

Tis sil-stab is composed by 50% of inorganic material which greatly reduces the risk of fire. The low reaction temperature, max 90 °C, and high flash point value of the reaction component (higher than 600 °C) guarantee maximum safety in working.
